The trees finely opened up and we realized we were surrounded by swampland. The interstate is on concrete pylons above the water.

Millie needed to stop and pick some cotton.

We put the trailer and car in storage. So off to Florida we go. We plan to return to Padre Island about September 1st.

After a year of planning. Millie and I broke ground today with the help of our builder John Pope.

Only 7 – 8 more months in the Motorhome……

Our camp site looks at the bridge going over to our Island. I wonder what they want for the boat???

Finely got to Texas and our lot….. Now the fun begins. We have gone non-stop getting things ready to start the build.

San Antonio…….. Turtle creek and the river walk….

The motorhome ran like a champ in the hot weather. We stopped at some great RV parks along the way. Like Tucson, Arizona… We were welcomed by a thunderstorm.

Headed to Texas. Whoop. Whoop….
