Stopped at the Perry KOA to swim and relax the second half of the away. The property was filled with old oak trees that had moss hanging from them.

This very small historic town was at the end of a longĀ road and surrounded by water.
We came across the old cemetery.

This bridge goes over the Mississippi river into Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Down the bridge and into Baton Rouge..
The trees finely cleared and we could see that we were surrounded by swampland. The interstate is elevated on concrete pylons above the water.
A quick stop. After all, they do have a casino.
Lake Charles is a major shipping port.
Yup…. Headed over that bridge..
Bye, bye Casino. And $60.00
Leaving Houston. Headed to Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
On the road again. Really????
